On this weeks episode of Smackdown Live, Baron Corbin took out Dean Ambrose backstage. Corbin would attack the ‘Lunatic Fringe’ with a steel pipe when he was not looking. He also pinned him under a forklift that was located in the backstage area.

WWE announced during Smackdown Live that he had been taken to a local medical facility to be checked on. The fear was that he could have broken his ribs due to the impact of the forklift. WWE provided an update on his injury and it is fantastic.

“UPDATE (10:15 p.m. ET): While en route to the medical facility, Ambrose reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and started heading back to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on foot. Stay with WWE.com for more on this developing story”

Ambrose would go on to wrestle the dark match alongside John Cena against Corbin and the Miz later that night.
A great little piece of character building from WWE for those who went back and checked this update. Hopefully they filmed this and show it on Smackdown Live next week.
