Welcome to the Summerslam 2017 predictions article for the biggest party of the summer. I’m going to go on record and saying this is one of the best cards on paper we have ever seen. This could go down as the greatest Summerslam of all time. This fatal four way main event is a once in a lifetime match. I truly believe it COULD be the best match of all time, that’s without hyperbole. The rest of this card see’s Cena and Orton on the bottom of the card. The weakest match on this card maybe Naomi and Natalya and even that has a briefcase looming over it. Let’s jump into the preshow of Cruiserweights and Tag Teams.

Neville vs. Akira Tozawa (Cruiserweight Title Match)
This past Monday we saw this title change hands from Nevile to Tozawa. You may wonder why they went ahead and did the title change there if they were going to wrestle again at Summerslam.
Here’s my thought… They wanted to give the payoff of Tozawa winning the title however obviously didn’t want to do it at Summerslam, why? They have Neville penciled in to win here and to continue this feud one more month while they build someone else to challenge him. Neville will win his title back and I actually had this the other way around until Monday night. Neville wins his title back and reclaims his spot on the throne of “King of the Cruiserweights”
Winner & New Champion: Neville
Miz & Miztourage v Jordan and Hardy’s:
This is another preshow match to get these six important superstars on the card. This already happened on Monday and the Hardy’s and Jordan took the win there. I think we are headed toward Jordan and Miz for the IC title and I see Miz pinning Matt Hardy on the pre-show for the win. Hardys don’t need a win and Jordan can’t get pinned. Miz could use a win at Summerslam to help promote him as champ.
Winner: Miz & Miztourage
New Day vs. Usos (Smackdown Live Tag Title Match)
Is there a feud right now that is propelling superstars better than this one? The Usos are completely rejuvenated and fresh and the crowd is actually starting to partly cheer them. The New Day is still not stale and going strong it’s quite amazing how the crowd is still behind these three guys and their antics.
This match may end up being the greatest pre show match of all time. It was actually a pick of mine to be match of the night before being moved to the preshow. They have great chemistry together however Usos got the pin on Kofi this past week on SDL, this will lead to Woods pinning an Uso for the win.
Winners & Still Champions: New Day
Big Cass vs. Big Show (Enzo suspended above ring in a Shark Cage)
As much as you may see people on twitter complain about this angle or hear podcasts bash it, it’s still one of the highest viewed angles on YouTube every week. This match is pretty simple and as much as people think Enzo Is going to turn heel and go back with Cass I don’t see it. I think WWE will move Cass away from Enzo after this and Cass gets the win here.
Now Enzo may accidently cost Big Show who may knock him out at the end of the match however I don’t think Enzo and Cass will get back together. Big Show won’t be able to do the KO punch and Cass will win.
Winner: Big Cass
Randy Orton vs. Rusev
I’m not sure how people feel about this match/feud. I think Orton needs a change of scenery from Smackdown Live and could be a breath of fresh air on Raw. While saying that Rusev is now back and lost his last network special to John Cena. Orton is coming off a win over Mahal on Smackdown Live and stood tall over Rusev last Tuesday.
My guess is Randy Orton will take the win over Rusev here at Summerslam. Possibly giving Owens something to do until his next feud.
