One of the matches that was announced for the Wrestlemania 33 kickoff show was the Smackdown Women’s Championship match. Alexa Bliss will defend her Smackdown Women’s Title against ‘any available female’ on the Smackdown roster, as originally announced by Daniel Bryan.

Confirmed for the match so far are Bliss, Becky Lynch, Mickie James, Natalya, Carmella and Naomi, who just made her return this past week from injury.
Many WWE fans took to social media to express their displeasure after the match was announced for the kickoff show. We noted prior that Vince McMahon was getting ripped by fans after promoting the “women’s revolution” on Twitter. Many fans took aim at him for putting the Smackdown women on the kickoff show.
It appears as if the fans might have had their voices heard. On WWE.com, it no longer lists the Smackdown Women’s Title match as being on the kickoff show.
As you will see in the image below, the Cruiserweight Title and Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal both say kickoff beside it, the Smackdown Women’s match does not.

Looks like a lot of fans might have gotten their wish.
