Several WWE Stars Removed From The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has taken place at Wrestlemania for the past four years. The idea behind it is that the match allows some of the lower-card talent that work for the company all-year long to get on the Wrestlemania card.

We previously reported that there were 30 names listed by WWE for this years Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It appears as if WWE has cut some talent out of the match.

Here are the names confirmed for the match from WWE.com:

Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman, Goldust, R-Truth, Curtis Axel, Dolph Ziggler, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Primo, Epico, Bo Dallas, Jinder Mahal, Rhyno, Heath Slater, Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley, Big Show, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Mark Henry.

This week, WWE announced that 2 NXT Superstars would be competing:

Tian Bing and Killian Dain.

As a result, WWE has removed some names for the match. Here are the notable absences (that were listed as competing before).

Titus O’Neil, Sin Cara, The Ascension, Kalisto and The Vaudevillians

Looks like WWE might still have some surprises in-store at Wrestlemania for this match. Sad for these guys that they won’t be getting a Wrestlemania moment.
