UFC Champion Daniel Cormier Comments On Roman Reigns’ Crowd Reaction Last Week

Daniel Cormier was able to successfully defend his UFC Light-Heavyweight Championship at UFC 210 this past weekend. Cormier defeated Anthony Johnson at the event. The news making headlines for WWE fans is what he had to say at the post-fight press conference.

Cormier is a big WWE fan and compared some of the boos that he gets from UFC fans to the reaction that Roman Reigns received on the RAW after Wrestlemania 33.

Reigns was booed very loudly to open last weeks episode of RAW. The crowd was chanting ‘Roman Sucks’, ‘F*** You Roman’ among many other things. This came after he retired the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33.

Here is what Cormier had to say about Reigns and his crowd reaction:

“I was watching WWEWrestleMania last weekend and I said ‘Wow, it would be great if Roman Reigns pins The Undertaker, clean. It’s how the ‘Old school’ guys do business. Monday night, Roman Reigns walked out to the ring and they booed him for ten minutes, would not allow him to talk, it was the most organic crowd they’ve had in a really long time. He said ‘This is my yard’ and he left. It was perfect, because they were playing the game for him.”
