On this weeks episode of Smackdown Live, Rusev appeared in a pre-taped segment. Rusev told the WWE Universe that he wasn’t happy with his move to Smackdown Live. He told Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan that he wouldn’t be showing up to the blue brand if he doesn’t get a title shot at Money in the Bank.

As noted prior, Rusev is out after recently having shoulder surgery. It was unclear exactly when he would be back, but it looks like it will be around the Money in the Bank PPV in June.

Rusev took to Twitter to tell fans why he demanded a title shot:
I’m just tired…… After all I’ve done I have NEVER had a championship match. I was undefeated for a year! Now it’s My way or the highway

Our take – Looks like we are getting a serious version of Rusev in the main event scene? Count me in. He is very talented but has been booked poorly over the past year or so.
