The Undertaker vs Sting was a dream match that a lot of fans wanted to see. The company had the chance to book it at Wrestlemania 31, but decided against it. [Sting faced Triple H while Undertaker faced Bray Wyatt at the event].
Now that they are both retired, the match will remain on many fans list of ‘What Ifs’.
Sting says that he regrets not being able to face the Undertaker but he is content with how his WWE career went:
“I regret not being able to get in the ring with him one time. It would have been great, but I’m OK with the way it turned out”
“Of course, if I had a chance, I’d do it. But look at ‘Taker’s career; did he miss out on anything? Look at my career. I don’t think I really missed out on anything, either.”
He says that it was not only a dream match for fans, it was one for him too:
“There was a worldwide desire to see that match. It was a dream match for me, too.”
