As noted prior, Emma suffered an injury during the WWE’s live event in Liverpool, England on Sunday. Emma was teaming up with Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax to take on Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James at the event. During the match, Emma was injured while taking a move from Sasha Banks.

The referee tossed up the dreaded ‘X’ symbol that usually signifies a legitimate injury. She walked out under her own power but looked to be in a lot of pain.
Emma took to Twitter to comment on the injury. She says that it was unlucky and she is still waiting to see what the extent of the injury is:

Let’s hope that it isn’t serious and won’t keep her out of action for very long. Emma was injured in May a year prior and had to get surgery on her back. Let’s hope that whatever this injury is, doesn’t force her to miss any significant time.
