A bit of an odd story to report. Fans in the United Kingdom might recognize the company: Walkers for their snack foods. They attempted a marketing campaign on Twitter where their followers could win UEFA Champions League final tickets.

Twitter users were asked to tweet selfies to the company using the hashtag: #WalkersWave….. Things went horribly, horribly wrong.
People started tweeting images of famous criminals and murders (because this is the internet). This included photos of former WWE star: Chris Benoit. Walkers mistakenly used the image of Benoit in a video alongside famous football star: Gary Lineker.

Walkers has since apologized for what happened and has pulled the marketing campaign
