You might have noticed that WWE Cruiserweight Classic winner: TJ Perkins has recently underwent a name change on WWE Television. Instead of going by TJ Perkins, he is now being called: TJP.

Many fans assumed that the reason was because WWE wanted to own his name like they do for so many other talents.
There was a rumor circulating on Friday that he was forced to change his name due to Vince McMahon HATING the ‘Perkins’ restaurant chain. The rumor was that Vince hates the restaurant and thinks that it sucks. As a result, Perkins was forced to change his name to TJP to avoid any association with the chain.
It sounds silly at first glance but if you have heard other phrases that Vince McMahon has outlawed, it seems like something Vince McMahon would say.
