Matt and Jeff Hardy were recently interviewed by Corey Graves for the WWE Network. It is available now and titled: ‘REBORN BY FATE: HARDYS INTERVIEW’. The most intriguing part of the interview was when Corey Graves straight up asked them about the status of their ‘Broken’ personas in WWE.

Matt says that it was strange going back to regular Matt Hardy when he returned to WWE because he was so used to his other persona.
Matt gave an update on the status of the gimmick:
“I definitely think there is a chance. It’s a work in progress. Unfortunately, due to legal reasons, I really can’t go into it right now but I find it very flattering and humbling that every time we come and wrestle in front of the WWE Universe, they chant and they address it and they acknowledge it.”
Matt also says he hopes fans continue to do the delete chants when they appear on television.
Matt seems confident that the gimmick will come to WWE:
“When it happens, and I’m not going to say if, when it happens. It’s going to be the most exciting thing to hit WWE programming in a long, long time. We’ve got to keep people guessing”
Certainly interesting to hear the ‘Broken’ gimmick being mentioned on a WWE Network show.
