You might have noticed two notable absences from RAW. Many fans have been wondering why Roman Reigns and Finn Balor did not appear on Monday Night RAW this week.

WWE hyped Roman Reigns and his big Summerslam announcement on the show but he did not appear live. Balor received a video package but was also absent.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that the reason why they didn’t appear on the show is to avoid over exposure.
According to his WWE sources, the company is choosing to keep some of their top babyfaces off television because they don’t want to overexpose them. They company hasn’t had the greatest track record of booking their babyfaces as of late.
The report also mentions Bayley, who appeared in a backstage interview with Corey Graves this week but not in front of the live crowd.
It also mentions that this won’t be a long-term thing. For the time being, it looks like some of their top (babyface) stars will be used sporadically. Certainly an interesting approach to take and we will have to wait and see how it goes.
