This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was interesting to say the least. Specifically the thing that had people talking was the Ball Family segment on Miz TV. The Miz hosted LaVar, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball for a segment that received a lot of mainstream attention.

Many wrestling fans have been asking why the heck wasn’t Titus O’Neil involved with the segment in some way. The Ball Family runs the ‘Big Baller Brand’, Titus runs the ‘Titus Brand’. It seems like a match made in heaven.
Titus even teased that fans would find out who the real brand was on RAW. This never ended up happening as we know now.
According to Ryan Satin on The Sheet Podcast, there were a lot of creative pitches to have Titus involved in the segment with LaVar. Vince McMahon instead decided to fit the Ball Family into the Miz TV segment that they already had planned for the episode.
The reason was that WWE wanted to get the publicity from the segment onto one of their Pay-Per-View feuds (Ambrose vs the Miz). As a result, we saw the Ball Family interact with the Miz and Dean Ambrose on RAW.

A segment with Titus would have been fun but WWE decided to use it to build up one of their matches instead.
