Shocking news dropped on Friday night in the wrestling world, Austin Aries was released by WWE. This has left fans scratching their heads after Aries was featured heavily on WWE television over the past several months. This includes several matches for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Neville.

We have some more details on his release and what happened.
Dave Meltzer confirms that it was Aries who asked for his release from the company.
According to Sean Radican of PWTorch, Aries wanted to be released because he felt like he was being ‘pigeonholed’ in the Cruiserweight division. He felt like he could be much more than just a wrestler on 205 Live for the company.
The same report from the Torch says that Aries had a bad attitude backstage and that made it easier for WWE to grant the release. We will have to wait for more details so take with a grain of salt for the time being.

He’s a freakin loser
I think he is a great talent and would of been great as CW champion and he is not wrong. However I believe he believes he would be the next Daniel Bryan and I don’t think that will ever happen.
