Note: This is only a theory and should not be looked at as something that will definitively happen. We are having fun with it and trying to guess what it will be!
Probably the biggest theory floating around has to do with Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle. There are several variables that have been suggested, including Stephanie and Kurt being in a relationship or having a child together.It could even simply be that Stephanie has some dirt on Angle. The idea is that whatever happens between Kurt and Stephanie, it would eventually lead to a match between Triple H and Kurt Angle.
Why it could happen:
– Would make sense for this storyline to be the vehicle to bring Stephanie McMahon back to RAW. She has been gone since Wrestlemania 33 as an on-screen character.
– Her and Kurt have a history with one another. Kurt, Stephanie and Angle had a love triangle storyline going in the early 2000’s. There is history between all 3 and the storyline was dropped suddenly.
– Angle has been adamant that he wants to wrestle again. It would make sense for all of this to be leading to a match for him.
Why it probably won’t happen:
– Kurt said I love you to close RAW and they would tell the world together. Is he and Stephanie now in a relationship? It would be pretty wild to see a storyline that involved Stephanie cheating on Triple H with Angle in today’s WWE.
– James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet is adamant that this storyline is NOT leading to Kurt Angle vs Triple H. He has broken several big stories in the past.
Verdict
– I think Stephanie has some dirt on Kurt Angle but this won’t be leading to an affair storyline with Angle and Stephanie. I also don’t think Angle vs Triple H will happen.
