Battleground is officially in the books. That means we are finally on the road to Summerslam. We thought that we would make some predictions on what matches that we think the blue brand will have at the biggest show of the Summer this year. Note: This Is Only For Smackdown Live!

Possible New Smackdown Matches That Will Be Added To Summerslam
– Jinder Mahal vs John Cena – WWE Championship
- Mahal has spoken multiple times about wanting this match. Could make sense with Cena coming off a win against Rusev.
– Randy Orton vs the Great Khali
- After costing him the match at Battleground, we have to assume that an Orton vs Khali match is coming.
– Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs Tamina and Lana
- Since Natalya is number one contender, this would give these ladies something to do. Can’t keep Becky and Charlotte off the Summerslam card.
Possible Battleground Rematches:
– The Usos vs The New Day – Smackdown Tag Team Championships
- Their match at Battleground was amazing and I see no reason to not have the rematch on the big stage.
– Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles – WWE United States Championship.
- Screwy finish of their Battleground match means the feud will likely continue. Maybe someone like Sami Zayn gets added to the mix. Or maybe they will add a stipulation to it.
– Baron Corbin vs Shinsuke Nakamura
- Looks like this feud is far from over after Battleground. They might finish it up over the next few weeks, but looks more like they could save it for Summerslam.
Already Confirmed:
– Natalya vs Naomi – Smackdown Women’s Championship.
***** Whoever is revealed as Breezango’s attackers could lead to a match at Summerslam.
