It is hard to deny that this week’s episode of Smackdown Live was fantastic. We saw the awesome (surprise) return of Chris Jericho. We saw a fantastic main event between Jericho, AJ Styles and Kevin Owens for the United States Title. The show also did a great job building some big-time matches for next week.

Fantastic was not a word that a lot of fans would have used to describe this weekend’s Battleground Pay-Per-View. Some fans tweeted their displeasure with the show and started the #FireRoadDogg hashtag. In case you are unfamiliar, Road Dogg is the current head writer of Smackdown Live.
Road Dogg fired back at critics that were saying he needs to be fired. Here is what he said:
