Baron Corbin and Carmella were this years winners of the Money in the Bank contracts. It has been almost two months since they both won their contracts but we still haven’t seen either of them cash-in.

It was assumed because of the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View being a Smackdown Live exclusive event, that the contracts would only be good for the WWE Title (Corbin) and the Smackdown Women’s Title (Carmella). But what if they aren’t exclusive?
In a recent article for Sports Illustrated, Justin Barrasso brought up the point that the Money in the Bank briefcases might not be specific to just Smackdown Live. Here is what he said when discussing possible finishes for the Fatal 4-way match (for the Universal Title) at Summerslam:
“the threat of Baron Corbin cashing in his non-specific Money in the Bank contract looms as a compelling finish to SummerSlam”
Barrasso brings up an interesting point. What if WWE decides to have Carmella or Corbin cash-in for a RAW title instead? It would certainly be a shock in this day and age. This is professional wrestling and WWE could easily just say that the contract wasn’t exclusive to the Smackdown titles if they want to go this route. Could make for some interesting television.
Imagine Baron Corbin cashes in and walks out with the Universal Title. Or Carmella with the RAW Women’s Title. Would certainly cause a stir in the wrestling world and something that not many people would expect.
