WWE fans received some bad injury news this week. It was first announced that Bayley would be missing Summerslam due to her injury. About an hour after that news broke, a report came out that Scott Dawson of the Revival had injured his bicep and he might need surgery.

We already know what happened to Bayley, she was injured during her match against Nia Jax on RAW a few weeks ago. But what happened to Dawson?
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), the injury happened at Friday night’s show in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dawson worked the Saturday and Sunday live events with the torn bicep. Once he got to TV on Monday Night, he was examined by WWE doctors and they found the problem.
According to Meltzer, Dawson will have a meeting later this week to determine if he will require surgery.
He also says that he has heard the injury didn’t happen from a big spot or move during the match. It was fluke thing that happened during a routine move. Meltzer thinks it could be due to wear and tear on his body since it wasn’t from something big.
Bad news for the Revival as they recently just missed several weeks due to Dash Wilder’s broken jaw. We wish Dawson a speedy recovery!
