WWE News: Update On Darren Young’s Return From Injury

Darren Young hasn’t been seen on WWE Television since January. Young suffered an elbow injury during a tag team match on ‘Main Event’ against the Colons.

He announced on Instagram the extent of his injury: “Hyperextension which resulted in a traumatic dislocation & fracture of the coronoid process of the right elbow”. It required surgery to fix.

According to a new report from James Mckenna of Pro Wresting Sheet, we have some good news for Darren Young and his WWE return. Young recently had his evaluation with WWE and has been cleared to return.

He could be returning to WWE Television as soon as next week. There is also no word on if he will teaming up again with Bob Backlund, who was managing him prior to the injury. The report confirms that he will be returning to the RAW brand.
