The wrestling world was in shock on Tuesday night after Baron Corbin failed his Money in the Bank cash-in. Corbin attempted to win the title after Jinder Mahal was hurt from his match against John Cena. The plan backfired and a distraction from Cena allowed Jinder to roll-up Corbin for the victory.

There is a pretty interesting fact that comes along with this unsuccessful cash-in and it involves John Cena.
John Cena has now been involved in all 3 of the unsuccessful Money in the Bank cash-in’s.
Let’s take a look at the others in case you are unfamiliar.
– The first happened when Cena cashed in against CM Punk in 2012. Cena defeated Punk but it was by disqualification after the Big Show interfered. Since titles can’t change hands on disqualifications, Cena failed to win the title.
-The second happened when Damien Sandow cashed in on an injured Cena in 2013. Cena hit the ‘Attitude Adjustment’ for the win.
-The third happened on Smackdown Live where Cena provided the distraction, allowing for Jinder Mahal to roll up Baron Corbin.
The moral of the story? Stay away from John Cena if you own the Money in the Bank contract.
