Baron Corbin losing his Money in the Bank contract has been the hot topic of conversation in the wrestling world since Smackdown Live ended. Jinder Mahal was able to roll-up Corbin after John Cena provided the distraction. As a result, Jinder retained the WWE Championship and Corbin was left with nothing.

Not so fast, some fans are saying that there is some controversy after watching the match back. Let us explain.
A rope break in wrestling can occur when a wrestler either grabs the rope or their arm or leg goes directly under it. If you watch the footage back, Jinder’s foot was clearly under the ropes. This technically means Corbin would have a case here to get his contract back (if WWE wants to go this route). Look at Jinder’s left foot:

Jinder’s foot was under and on the rope at the count of three, so they could give it back to him next week or at SummerSlam if booked right

Was this intentional by WWE to allow Corbin to regain his briefcase? We will have to wait and see how it plays out or if they mention it again.
