This weeks episode of Smackdown Live takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This will be the fourth and final show of Summerslam weekend.

There are a couple of rumors floating around about the show that we wanted to share. Warning: obviously these will be potential spoilers so click away now if you don’t want anything spoiled for you.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Shelton Benjamin was spotted in New York on Monday night. Johnson says that there was talk this weekend that Benjamin could be joining the Smackdown roster. Benjamin signed with WWE about a week ago for those that missed it and is expected to appear on WWE Television soon.
Also, Johnson reports that Bobby Roode was backstage for RAW on Monday night. This has led to speculation that he also could be showing up on Smackdown Live this week. Johnson reported after Takeover: Brooklyn that Roode was more likely to join the Smackdown roster over RAW.

Looks like we have some potential for some surprises on Tuesday night. Will be interesting to see if either Benjamin or Roode appear this week. Would be pretty fun to see one of them answer an open challenge……
