Plans For Enzo Amore Were Reportedly Changed On RAW This Week

Enzo Amore picked up a win against Noam Dar this week on Monday Night RAW. This was Enzo’s official in-ring debut as a member of the Cruiserweight division. He would go on to defeat Dar to pick up his first win as a member of the 205 Live roster.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, these were not the original plans for Enzo on Monday Night.

Enzo was reportedly penciled in for the 15-man battle royal to earn a shot at the Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. Enzo was apparently pulled from the match sometime on Monday and the plans were changed to Enzo vs Dar.

No word yet on why Enzo was pulled. Certainly a head scratching thought considering that they just put Enzo on 205 Live a week ago. Did Vince forget that they made the change?

Or maybe WWE is looking to bridge the gap between the Cruiserweight and the RAW rosters. Some fans have suggested that doing a better job integrating the two could help the show grow. Interactions between guys on 205 Live and the main roster could help give the division a boost.

We will have to keep an eye on if Enzo interacts with the RAW roster over the next few weeks.

These weren’t the only plans that changed on Monday. Samoa Joe was also supposed to to face John Cena but an injury nixed that idea.
