Shelton Benjamin made his in-ring return to WWE on Smackdown Live this week. Shelton had not wrestled on WWE television since 2010. He was supposed to return last year, but a shoulder injury nixed those plans. He is finally back home.

Benjamin teamed up with Chad Gable to defeat the Ascension on Smackdown Live. It looks like Gable and Benjamin are forming quite the impressive partnership and will be a team to watch out for over the next several months.
Shelton took to Twitter to reflect on his tough journey back to WWE:
The road back tough. Full of physical/mental high/lows. To hear the roar of the @WWEUniverse tonight made it all worth It.

He was also interviewed after his match on Smackdown Live, saying that him and Gable will not stop until they are tag team champions.
