News broke this week that Samoa Joe suffered an injury over the weekend. This injury had a big impact on Monday Night RAW this week as Joe was reportedly supposed to take on John Cena. This didn’t end up happening and Joe didn’t appear on RAW at all. So what the heck is going on? How bad is the injury?

We have an update on Joe and his current injury status.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Samoa Joe was in Birmingham, Alabama this week to have his knee diagnosed and fixed.
The current timeline for Joe’s return to the ring is 4 to 6 weeks according to the report.
According to this timeline, it looks like Joe will be missing the ‘No Mercy’ Pay-Per-View on September 24th. The good news is that the injury won’t force him to be out for several months like we sometimes see with knees.
Get well soon Joe and come back even stronger!
