This weeks episode of Smackdown Live saw the return of Vince McMahon to WWE television. Unfortunately for Vince, things didn’t go down as he planned. After making the Hell in a Cell match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon official, Vince was attacked.

Owens hit Vince with a headbutt, which caused him to bleed. Owens also hit Vince with a superkick and a frog splash off the top rope. As the show went off the air, Vince was in a lot of pain.
WWE has provided a small update on Vince after Smackdown Live. They say that he refused medical attention:
“WWE Chairman and CEO Mr. McMahon was on the receiving end of a brutal attack at the hands of Kevin Owens during the shocking conclusion of Sin City SmackDown.
WWE.com has learned that, following the attack, Mr. McMahon did not give comment and refused to be looked at by medical staff”
Vince proved that he is still one tough S.O.B, even at the age of 72. Have to respect his willingness to get physical in order to sell a match. There is no question that his involvement just raised the stakes by a large margin.
