This weeks episodes of RAW and Smackdown Live are officially in the books. RAW featured a six-pack challenge main event to determine the Miz’s next Intercontinental Championship challenger. Smackdown Live featured a Women’s fatal 4-way, main event to determine the next challenger for Natalya and her Women’s Title.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, we have some backstage notes from RAW and Smackdown this week.
– The fatal 4-way match between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Naomi and Tamina had a last minute change. Tamina was apparently added to the match at the last-minute and it was originally only going to be a triple threat.
– There was apparently a lot of talk backstage about the low attendance from Smackdown Live.
– Also there was apparently a lot of talk backstage about the crowd’s response to Jinder Mahal’s promo. In case you missed it, the crowd chanted: “That’s too far” at him after he made a joke about Shinsuke Nakamura looking like “Mr. Miyagi”. It is worth mentioning that WWE did not upload the video of the promo to their Youtube channel.
– The reason why Emma wasn’t on RAW this week was because she stayed in Australia with her family after the RAW live events.
