Cody Rhodes Comments On WWE Bringing Back ‘War Games’

As you likely have heard by now, WWE is bringing back the classic War Games match for the next NXT Takeover event. For those that don’t remember, the War Games match was used in both the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW)

Cody Rhodes’ father: Dusty was no stranger to the War Games, competing in many of them over his career. Cody didn’t sound too thrilled when WWE announced the return of Starrcade a few weeks ago.

So how does Cody Rhodes feel about War Games returning?

Here is what Rhodes had to say on Twitter, revealing that Triple H spoke to him about its return:

I’m not mad. I was told. H worked for my Dad and then my Dad worked for him. They were friends. Care and effort will be placed into it.
