Jinder was originally scheduled to face Brock in a Champion vs Champion match. After losing the WWE Title to AJ Styles, the match was changed to Styles vs Lesnar.
Jinder admits that he was disappointed when he found out that he wouldn’t be facing Brock. He also revealed that he only found out about the change on the day that he lost the title.
Here is what he said:

“I found out the day of, when we got to Manchester. To be honest, I was a little disappointed, I was looking forward to that match. But I know that match is going to happen sometime in the future, and it is up to me to make sure that it happens. And I’m going to make sure that it happens. Either; as I said earlier, there are two ways you can take it. You can either say you’re going to make it happen, or write and do whatever it takes to get there, or you can pour out, boohoo, and blame someone else. But what is meant to be, was meant to be, it will be. And I’m going to make sure that it becomes.”
Do you think Jinder will ever get another shot at Brock?

I wouldn’t mind Jinder fighting Brock honestly. As much as I’ve criticised him, he has definitely improved. But this match should come a couple years down the line. Settle him in the higher end of midcard, have him wrestle for the IC Title for a bit, even let him win it in about a year’s time. With a bit of polish he could be brilliant.
