WWE announced that Dean Ambrose had successful surgery on Tuesday night. It is unclear how long that he will be out of action, but I think it is safe to assume that he will be gone for the next few months. As a result, his tag team partner Seth Rollins will likely move on to singles competition.

Now, what does this mean for the RAW Tag Team division? Let’s speculate on the future of the division over the next several weeks. h/t to our follower @TimFlaherty823 for giving us the idea.
Here are the currently active teams on RAW:
- Sheamus & Cesaro
- The Revival
- Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
- Heath Slater & Rhyno
- Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel
- Apollo Crews & Titus O’Neil
Scenario 1) WWE jumps right into the Revival vs Sheamus & Cesaro as the Tag Team Title feud for the time being.
Scenario 2) WWE turns Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson babyface. They could face both the Revival and Sheamus & Cesaro this way.
Scenario 3) Heath Slater & Rhyno’s storyline that was teased on RAW this week turns into them challenging for the Tag Team Titles.
Scenario 4) WWE calls up a team from NXT. It seems like it would be either the Authors of Pain or SANITY.

I am not really sure what else the division can do. What do you think the future holds for the division?
