WWE Speculation: Tag Team Title Stipulation At The Royal Rumble

On Smackdown Live this week, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable won the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately for them, their win was taken away after it was determined that Gable didn’t pin the right Uso. As a result, the match was restarted and the Usos were able to retain their titles.

So what will be next in this storyline? Let’s speculate.

I think that it is safe to assume that Benjamin and Gable will be getting another Title shot after the controversial finish. I think that WWE will save the rematch for the Royal Rumble and will add a stipulation.

Based on the legal man controversy, I think that this will be leading towards a tornado tag team match at the Rumble. If you don’t know what a tornado tag team match is, it means that all four participants will be allowed to wrestle in the ring at the same time. This will avoid any confusion about who is the legal man or not.

I think that it makes sense from a storyline standpoint.
