Sasha Banks was recently interviewed by Jefferson Lake of Sky Sports. This was in order to promote the 25th-anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw.

Sasha was asked how she would feel about WWE implementing Tag Team Titles for the Women’s division. This is something that a lot of fans have been asking for over the past year.
Sasha explains that sometimes storylines can be difficult when there is nothing to fight for:
“I would love that. I think we have enough women on the roster now to actually have a women’s tag division.
We’ve been given multiple storylines but at the same time, it’s very hard to accomplish something if you’re not actually fighting for anything”

She continued:
“Only one woman can go after the women’s championship and I think if we had tag team championships we’d be able to create way more interesting storylines.
We have tag matches all the time, every single week, so I say why not get a championship involved in that?”
The last we checked, Lita teased that WWE was discussing the idea internally.
