The big story of the week in the wrestling world has been Daniel Bryan getting cleared to wrestle again. Bryan got physical in the ring for the first time in a few years on Smackdown Live, taking a vicious beating at the hands of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

It turns out that there are some requirements on what Daniel Bryan has to do after every match now that he is cleared.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Bryan is required to meet with WWE doctors backstage after every match.
Bryan will have impact testing and neuropsychological evaluations done after matches until WWE feels comfortable that he is okay. Meltzer says that Bryan agreed to this before he was officially cleared by WWE.

Seems like a pretty fair thing to do in order to watch out for Bryan’s safety moving forward. The most important thing is Bryan’s long-term safety and it seems smart to evaluate him for at least the first little while.
