Today, we have our first portion of WWE 2K19 news. Baron Corbin on his Instagram account as part of his story has confirmed that he is doing some voiceover acting work for the next installment of the WWE Franchise, as you can see in this picture below:

OPINION: I feel like more than anything, this will be used in the MyCareer mode. Baron Corbin could be one of the superstars this year you encounter, especially after the year he has had becoming Mr. Money In The Bank and been a former United States Champion, it would be quite the challenge for your created superstar(if MyCareer is still CAW only) to overcome.
My personal hope would be to also use this in the promo engine, but thinking about it you would need to get every single Superstar in the game to do some sort of voiceover for the game in order for the promo engine to successfully work. That will not happen due to wrestlers in the game, unfortunately, passing away, or some other type that may stop them from doing the voiceovers.
This is certainly some interesting news, however, to say the least, because the last game we had voiceovers for superstars were in WWE 12 and the Road To WrestleMania modes with Triple H, Sheamus and created character Jacob Cass.
