The first thing announced was that Carmella will defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Asuka at Money in the Bank.
The New Day defeated the Bar on Smackdown this week. As a result, they will get to pick a member of their team to enter the Men’s ladder match.
Becky Lynch defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to qualify for the women’s ladder match. Becky joins Charlotte Flair, Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss in the Women’s ladder match.
Next weeks episode of Smackdown will feature Big Cass vs. Samoa Joe and Billie Kay vs. Lana to fill two more spots in the ladder matches.
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated AJ Styles and will get to choose the stipulation for their WWE Title match at Money in the bank.
