NXT is putting on matches this weekend at the Download Festival in the UK. It turns out that there might have been an NXT talent injured during one of the matches at the festival. This came during the 6-woman tag team match: Nixon Newell (now known as Tegan Nox) Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai vs Nina Samuels, Lacey Evans, and Bianca BelAir.

According to fans in attendance, Nixon may have hurt her knee as she looked to be in pain after the match ended. Here is a photo and some Tweets from fans in attendance:

Candice got the win so they carried on, but looked to maybe have tweaked her knee and barely celebrated the win and Dakota and Candice looked to be consoling her

Nixon is just coming off a torn ACL so this would be a devastating injury. Let’s hope for the best and we will let you know if there is an update!
