Kurt Angle announced a multi-person match for the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. The winner of this match will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. The only two names confirmed for the match so far are Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. From the promo photo on WWE’s website, it seems like there will be six participants in total. So who else will be participating in the match?

Who I Think Are Very Likely Participants
– I am going to say that Finn Balor is a lock for this match. He has been hanging around the top of the card for the past several months. He also still hasn’t received his WWE Universal Title rematch from a few years ago. I say that he will be involved.
– Based on RAW last week it seems like Baron Corbin will also be involved in the match. Corbin is currently in great standing with Stephanie McMahon (who has the power to put him in the match). He also picked up a big win to close RAW last week. All of this has me thinking that Corbin will be getting a spot in the match.
– I originally had Kevin Owens as a lock but it looks like he could be facing Braun Strowman in a gimmick match [read more about that rumor here].
With Reigns, Lashley, Balor, and Corbin, that only leaves two more spots.
Names Vying For The Final Two Spots
– Seth Rollins: If Seth loses his rematch to Dolph Ziggler this week, WWE could put him into the multi-person match.
– Bobby Roode: He picked up a win against Curt Hawkins last week giving him some momentum. He is an option.
– Jason Jordan: He is rumored to be returning very soon. WWE could have him return for this match.
– Elias: Not sure if this is the direction that WWE will go but he remains an option.
– Jinder Mahal: Jinder defeated Chad Gable on RAW last week giving him some momentum. He is another option.

My gut says that it will be Rollins and Elias. That would mean the match will be Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley vs Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins vs Elias. How does that sound to you?
