Some sad news to pass along your way, WWE legend Nikolai Volkoff has reportedly passed away at the age of 70. Volkoff was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2005.

The report comes from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who provided some preliminary details.
Johnson reports that Volkoff passed away this morning. This was only a few days after being released from a hospital in Maryland where he was being treated for dehydration and other issues.
Volkoff had a lengthy pro-wrestling career. He is probably best known for teaming with The Iron Sheik, who he won the WWF Tag Team Championships with at Wrestlemania 1.
