WWE originally announced Shayna Baszler vs Asuka for the episode. That match has now been changed.
WWE has announced that Asuka is injured and Kairi Sane will be taking her place against Shayna. Here is what WWE wrote on their website:
Kairi Sane to face Shayna Baszler in place of Asuka tonight on Raw
Due to a sprained wrist, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka is not medically cleared to compete tonight on Monday Night Raw.Facing Shayna Baszler in The Empress of Tomorrow’s place will be her tag team partner, Kairi Sane.
