News broke recently that Mustafa Ali had requested his release from WWE. We have an update on the situation to pass your way.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE is NOT going to be granting the release request of Mustafa.
Here is what Sapp Tweeted:
WWE does not plan to grant Mustafa Ali’s request for release, Fightful Select has learned.
Ali was reportedly told that they are not planning to let him go right now. It was also noted that he still has years left on his current WWE contract.
My Take:
- With the amount of releases that have happened, I am surprised that WWE is keeping him. Feel bad for him if he is truly unhappy.
