Here Is How Many Times John Cena Has Lost Clean In The Past Decade

Big news this week was that Shinsuke Nakamura defeated John Cena to earn a WWE Championship opportunity at Summerslam. With the win, Nakamura also joined an exclusive club of people who have defeated John Cena clean in the past decade.

When we say clean, it means no outside interference or shenanigans. Cena just loses the match. It has only happened 14 times in the past decade.

Here is the list of times that Cena has lost clean in the past decade (h/t to r/batnorris on reddit and Brandon Stroud of Uproxx).

– Shawn Michaels (Raw, 2007)
– The Great Khali (Saturday Night’s Main Event, 2007)
– Triple H (Night Of Champions, 2008)
– Batista (SummerSlam, 2008)
– Big Show (Raw, 2009)
– Triple H (Raw, 2009)
