Here are some of the latest wrestling rumors that are floating around.
5) Backstage Note On Daniel Bryan
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Daniel Bryan left WWE on very good terms. Here is what Sapp wrote via a source:
“Bryan handled things so well that a lot of people didn’t think he was actually leaving or taking any time off. We couldn’t have asked for more.”
It was also noted that the door is open for Bryan to return to the company somewhere down the road.
My Take:
- Great to see someone leave on good terms. I could see Bryan coming back to WWE in a few years for one final run before retiring and going into the Hall of Fame.
4) Upcoming AEW Special
According to Andrew Zarian on Twitter, AEW is planning a similar show to Clash of the Champions in January. It might be called ‘Battle of the Belts’.

They’re obviously not able to use the name “Clash of the Champions” due to WWE owning the rights…
