5) Backstage Note On Rey Mysterio
According to Sean Ross Sapp on FIghtful Select (subscribe here), Rey Mysterio is out of action right now with an undisclosed medical reason.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
As of Friday night that Rey Mysterio was sidelined for an undisclosed medical reason and would no longer be able to perform at the Saturday night live event where he was scheduled to face Roman Reigns.
My Take:
- Hopefully it is only something small and Rey gets back soon!
4) Backstage Note On Nia Jax
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, the rumor going around is that Nia Jax could be taking some time off WWE. This is why she was viciously attacked by Shayna Baszler, to write her off TV.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Nia Jax was not backstage at Smackdown and the word making the rounds is she may be taking an extended period of time off, so her attack by Baszler was to write her off TV for the time being.
My Take:
- Makes sense. Have her return in a few weeks or months and jump into a fresh feud.
