3) Backstage Note On Lita’s Return To Smackdown
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE bringing Lita to Smackdown this week was a very last-minute deal. The decision to bring her in was made the day before Smackdown.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
The decision to bring in Lita was a last minute idea, PWInsider.com has learned. The idea was approved yesterday and the company booked her to travel the same day. Tonight is her first appearance on a Smackdown broadcast in nearly 20 years.
My Take:
- Lita’s segment with Charlotte turned out to be decent. I would love to see Charlotte vs Lita one day.
2) Possible NXT Call-Ups?
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa were backstage at Smackdown for the second week in a row.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa are again backstage at Smackdown for the second week in a row. They are still officially listed on the NXT roster internally.
My Take:
- Both would make sense as NXT call-ups. Maybe we will see them in the Rumble?
