Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Scrapped Match Plans For RAW
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE was planning a rematch between Karrion Kross and Jeff Hardy for RAW. This was scrapped after news broke that Jeff recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
WWE star Jeff Hardy has been pulled from the road following a COVID-19 positive test. The plan had been for Hardy to once again wrestle Karrion Kross tomorrow on Raw, but obviously that is off the table.
My Take:
- I am sure that Kross would have gotten his win back over Jeff on this episode. This comes after Jeff pulled off the surprising victory in Kross’ debut. This rematch will have to wait for a few more weeks.
4) Female WWE Star To Return?
Beth Phoenix was recently a guest on Renee Young’s podcast. During this, Beth revealed that she is medically cleared to wrestle and teased that she would be open to returning for another match.
Here is what Beth said:
“I have a feeling there is somebody that will end up across the ring from me at some point. I don’t want to give any clues on that, but I don’t think that Beth Phoenix is done lacing up the boots forever.”
My Take:
- I would love to see another Beth match. I am all for it.
