Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Drew McIntyre To Bring Back Old Theme?
Drew McIntyre was recently a guest on the Battleground Podcast. During this, he spoke about his old ‘Broken Dreams’ theme song.
Drew teased that he is still pushing hard to bring that theme back at some point. Here is what he said:
“Okay, one of these days that music is going to come back because I hear this question all the time. I see it every day on social media. One of these days I’m going to get it approved. I’m going to have it for a show. I’m positive we still have the rights to it and I’m going to convince management to let me use it. And everybody in the crowd better know the words to that song because if I go out there and everybody is like, ‘what’s that?’ then I’m going to be let down. So, everybody start learning the lyrics because eventually I will get that song.”
My Take:
- I did always like that theme. Maybe he can use it for a special Wrestlemania entrance or something? That would be pretty great.
4) MVP Backstage At Recent NXT Taping
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, MVP was backstage at a recent episode of NXT.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
We’ve heard a lot about the likes of Bronson Reed, Karrion Kross and Scarlett all being at WWE Raw and Smackdown events of late, but there have actually been some main roster names at backstage recently. Fightful was told that MVP was backstage at this past week’s episode of NXT, and that it isn’t uncommon to see Damian Priest visiting backstage as well. We aren’t sure if there was a specific reason for MVP being there or if he was just visiting.
My Take:
- Obviously just pure speculation but it would be interesting if MVP was recruiting a new member of The Hurt Business from NXT. I think that a female member could be great for the group.
