5) Note On Bryan Danielson’s New Theme Song
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the price was too high for AEW to get the rights for The Final Countdown for Bryan Danielson. That is why he had new theme music.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“The price of getting rights to The Final Countdown was too high even for Tony Khan, and so a friend of Danielson’s put the new entrance theme together,”
My Take:
- That makes sense. The Final Countdown would have been amazing though.
4) Backstage Note On Daniel Bryan Leaving WWE
According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, Daniel Bryan really wrestled with the decision to leave WWE. He ended up making the decision to leave for AEW but it was said to be a hard decision on him.
Here is what Meltzer Tweeted:
Unlike everyone else where the decision was pretty easy, Danielson wrestled very hard with this decision.
My Take:
- I can imagine that WWE is not very happy with the decision. They treated Bryan extremely well and he was booked strong. I don’t think he can say that WWE mishandled him in any form.
