3) Possible Women’s Royal Rumble Surprise (Part 2)
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Kairi Sane hasbeen discussed for the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
“Kairi Sane hasn’t competed for WWE in a year and a half, but we’ve heard that her name has been pitched as a possible Royal Rumble entry for this weekend. Sane left the United States in the Summer of 2020 and returned to Japan, where she’s remained with WWE in an official capacity as an ambassador. She’s also done commentary work for WWE in Japan.”
My Take:
- I would love to see Kairi back. I miss her too.
2) NXT Stars To Be Backstage At Smackdown
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Dakota Kai, Io Shirai, LA Knight and Roderick Strong will all be backstage at Smackdown this week.
Here is what Johnson wrote;
Dakota Kai, Io Shirai, LA Knight and Roderick Strong are all slated to be at this Friday’s WWE Smackdown taping in Kansas City, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
My Take:
- I could see Kai and Shirai in the Royal Rumble match. Not sure about Strong or Knight though.
