Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Ruby Riott’s Future
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Ruby Riott is expected to sign with AEW. This comes after she was released by WWE.
She is now going by the name Ruby Soho and her non-compete clause with WWE will expire on August 31st, which is a few days prior to AEW’s All Out PPV.
My Take:
- I think WWE made a mistake letting Ruby go. I think that she is very talented and has a bright future.
4) New WWE Trademark
According to Heel By Nature, WWE recently filed to trademark ‘Sunray’.
Here is what the site wrote:
WWE has filed a new trademark with The United States Patent and Trademark Office.
On 7/31, WWE filed a trademark for the term ‘Sunray’. The application was entered into the trademark database on Wednesday (8/4) morning.
My Take:
- Sounds like the new possible name of an NXT Superstar. We will have to wait and see.
